Credits and license
Taqtaqa is an open-source project, and this is everything it builds on.
Font
The site uses the Thmanyah font, and the rights to the font belong to Thmanyah. You can download it from font.thmanyah.com.
Monkeytype
The themes, the Mac keyboard layout, the Egyptian word list and some of the quotes come from Monkeytype, licensed under GPL-3.0.
Texts
- Egyptian and Saudi proverbs, poetry and heritage texts: public domain.
- Film lines: short quotes, one or two lines from each film, each shown with the film, the actor and the year. The rights belong to their owners, and if a rights holder wants a line removed, it will be removed.
- Egyptian Arabic, folk tales and diacritics texts: written for the project.
- English quotes: proverbs, short well-known quotes, and passages from public-domain works, each shown with its author or source.
Taqtaqa's license
The site's code is licensed under GPL-3.0, and all of it is on GitHub.
